Ingredients

6 boneless ribeye steaks, about 12 ounces each
8 ounces low sodium soy sauce
4 garlic cloves, minced or 1 teaspoon dried garlic powder
2 teaspoons minced ginger or 1 teaspoon dried ginger powder
1 cup brown sugar
12 ounces pineapple juice
6 ounces apple cider vinegar

Directions

Warm all ingredients until gently simmering
Let cool. Put steaks in a sealable plastic bag or a shallow glass dish. Add marinade. If using glass dish, cover with plastic wrap. Let marinate in refrigerator for 12-24 hours. Remove steaks; discard liquid.

Grill or broil until desired doneness

Serves 6-8
KosherEye note: This marinade is excellent on chicken as well, including boneless chicken breasts.
