Pastries with a Purpose!

This company is all about doing good and tasting great!

Emily Greenwald has been baking since the age of seven, but her long battle with epilepsy has prevented her from starting her own culinary enterprise. So, Emily's sister-in-law, Jo Ann Greenwald, launched Emily's Edibles to honor Emily, and to use a significant percentage of the company profits to fund research grants for the study of epilepsy in women. Jo Ann is delighted that this relatively new site has already raised over $1,000 for epilepsy research.

The company sells a gourmet assortment of Star-K dairy kosher certified pastries, available in gift assortments and shipped throughout the U.S. The pastries  can be used as party favors, all occasion gifts, or just as personal treats. We tried an assortment of  3 flavors: marbled fudge, chocolate chip, and chocolate delight. We warmed the chocolate chip in the microwave on high for about 2 seconds and served it alongside ice cream! Delicious! However, the products can also be eaten chilled or at room temperature. We loved it slightly warmed.

To learn more about Emily’s Edibles and how to order, visit Emily's Edibles. The company is offering free shipping on gift boxes through the month of June!  What a delicious Father’s Day treat!

Unrelated to food, but certainly food for thought…read about Emily and her unique connection to the Unicorn. Visit the section of the website which talks about Emily’s woven unicorn tapestries and her fascination with this legendary wonder!
