A KosherEye favorite and so easy to make.
12-ounce box Crispix or Chex cereal
1/2 cup butter or parve margarine
1 cup peanut butter
12-ounce package chocolate chips
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 to 2 cups powdered sugar
Place powdered sugar into a large plastic bag and set aside.
Place cereal in large bowl.
Place butter or parve margarine, peanut butter and chocolate chips in saucepan and cook, stirring, until chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour mixture over cereal and gently stir until cereal is well coated. Pour the coated cereal mixture into the bag containing the powdered sugar. Gently shake until cereal is well coated with the powdered sugar.
Pour the mixture onto wax paper to cool and dry. Store in tightly covered containers at room temperature.
