Cursed be Haman and Blessed be Mordechai Sangria

KosherEye Special Sangria

Special Equipment:

1 large pitcher (ceramic is best)
1 long wooden spoon

Ingredients:

1 bottle chilled ginger ale or Sprite
1 bottle chilled wine, such as Baron Herzog white zinfandel or Bartenura Moscato
An assortment of fresh cut peaches, orange sections, halved strawberries, blueberries

Directions:

Place cut fruit at bottom of large pitcher.

Pour wine and ginger ale over fruit.

Press fruit slightly with wooden spoon or use muddler.

Chill for 30 minutes.

Pour into 10 ounce tumblers or chilled glasses and garnish with additional sliced oranges.

Notes:

Yield: Serves 10
