Since the Super Bowl is heading to our hometown this year, we are sharing some of our favorite super eating tips. No, Atlanta's kosher scene is not like NY, LA or Miami, but if you know where to go, and what to order, you will enjoy every bite, along with a touch of our famous southern hospitality.

Publix has absolutely authentic and delicious fried chicken. For the freshest, just out of the fryer taste, we suggest ordering ahead! The chicken comes in boxes of 8 pieces You can choose all dark or a mixed box. The other kosher specialties at this location are sub sandwiches and rotisserie chicken. Kroger offers an entire take out section filled with kosher meat and prepared foods. Additionally, they offer sushi, fried chicken, by the piece; and rotisserie chicken. 404-633-8694

The Spicy Peach-- Our all kosher gourmet boutique. In addition to a selection of groceries, proprietors Tzippy, Jodi and Lydia offer vegetarian, parve and dairy takeout salads, paninis and sushi.
Bruster's Ice Cream and Menchies Frozen Yogurt are both in Toco Hill as well. Both are AKC kosher certified, but not Cholov Yisroel.

The Kosher Gourmet - This deli/grocery/butcher store is Atlanta's oldest kosher deli. Enjoy a corned beef or pastrami sandwich; delicious white fish salad and bagels . Meat or parve take out is always available. The butcher will cut your meat to order. Meet Steve Gilmer, the founder while you're there. Formaggio Mio is Atlanta's only dairy restaurant - It has a Mediterranean/Italian flair. Our favorite selections are Caesar Salad, Fettucine Alfredo, and very delicious, freshly made fish and chips. Sandy Springs Area
Fuego Mundo located in The Prado Shopping Center in Sandy Springs, this is Atlanta's upscale Latin restaurant. We particularly enjoy their Yucca fries, Empanadas, Argentinian churrasco, grilled tilapia beef and chicken skewers and always with the Latin sides . Spanish Rice, Black Beans & Sweet Plantains. Last but not least, our very favorite doughnuts in the world. The most delicious, oldest, busiest kosher Krispy Kreme is here in Atlanta. Now owned by basketball icon, Shaquille O'Neal, the store is an historic Atlanta landmark. If the HOT sign is on, stop, park and nosh!
