Ingredients:

1 cup confectioners sugar, sifted
Orange juice, pomegranate molasses, apple juice, apple cider, milk or water
Optional: Chopped pecans, chopped dried apricots, chopped raisins or craisins, or a mixture of  diced dried fruits

Directions:

When challah is cool, mix 1 cup confectioners sugar with a few drops of the liquid,  until of spreading consistency (not too thin). With rubber spatula, gently spread (or drizzle) over challahs. If using the optional toppings, quickly sprinkle on toppings so they will "embed" and stick to frosting glaze. Let dry thoroughly before wrapping lightly with plastic wrap to store until serving.
If freezing the challah, do not glaze. Bring to room temperature before glazing.  Best glazed the1 day prior or the  same day that you are serving.
