Pomegranate Swirl Ice Cream - A KosherEye Signature Recipe
We have taken our popular ice cream pie recipe, and given it a taste of fall and Yom Tov.
It can be prepared dairy or parve and added to a pie crust*, or scooped, and served alongside cake.. Of course, it is a no-bake creation.
1 - 16 ounce container parve vanilla ice cream like Trader Joe’s Brand
1 container Rich Whip, whipped until stiff peaks form
½ cup Pomegranate Molasses
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Garnish: ½ cup Pomegranate arils
Gently fold whipped cream into softened ice cream
With a knife or fork, swirl pomegranate molasses into mixture
Immediately, put mixture into a sealable ice cream container*
When ready to serve, scoop into bowls and top with fresh pomegranate arils
* This recipe makes a delicious pie filling as well. Just spoon it into a baked graham cracker or cookie pie crust and freeze
Optional: Drizzle with additional pomegranate molasses.
