KosherEye Signature Sangria
So refreshing in summer with seasonal fruits such as berries and peaches; Delicious in cool weather made with apples and pears.
1 bottle chilled ginger ale or Sprite
1 bottle chilled sparkling white wine, such as Hagafen Sparkling Brut Cuvée or Bartenura Prosecco
Optional: 4 ounces Triple Sec
A warm weather assortment of fruit such as fresh cut peaches, orange sections, halved strawberries, blueberries or a cold weather assortment of fruit such as apples, pears & any seasonal fresh or frozen fruits you like!
Place about 2 cups of cut up fruit in a large pitcher
Add Triple Sec if using. Let macerate for 4 hours or overnight
Just before serving, pour wine and ginger ale over fruit.
Press fruit slightly with a long wooden spoon or use a muddler.
Chill for at least 30 minutes.
Pour into 10 ounce tumblers or chilled glasses and garnish with additional sliced oranges.
Yield: Serves 10
