BBQ Honey Glazed Ribs

Ingredients
5 garlic cloves, chopped or 1 heaping tablespoon jarred minced garlic
1-cup honey
½ cup dark soy sauce
½ cup ketchup
1-tablespoon instant coffee
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste
12-14 Miami boneless or boned ribs (Miami ribs are actually flanken, cut thinly on the diagonal)
Directions
Combine garlic, honey, soy sauce, ketchup, instant coffee, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper together until well-blended. Pour mixture over ribs. Let marinate at least 1-2 hours or overnight. Preheat barbecue grill to high heat. Grill ribs for 2-3 minutes on each side, basting as required.
Alternately, bake ribs covered in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes. Remove. Cover, baste with marinade and continue baking uncovered for another 30 minutes or until cooked through.
Serves about 6
Notes
Sauce can also be used on tofu, chicken or turkey.
