Vanilla sugar is a pantry staple for us. We use it in all of our baking.
Ingredients
1-2 whole vanilla beans
6 cups of sugar
Add 1-2 split vanilla beans to 6 cups of sugar in an airtight container. Keep container at room temperature; shake often. After using, keep replenishing the sugar. The longer the beans are buried, the deeper the vanilla flavor.
