 macaroon crust with chocolate

 Ingredients 
1 1/2 cups finely ground macaroons
1/4 cup sugar
6 Tablespoons melted coconut oil, butter or margarine

Directions

Process macaroons into fine crumbs - we use a food processor
In a bowl, using  a fork or ladle, mix macaroon crumbs, sugar, melted butter or oil or margarine, until well the mixture is well blended . Press all into a 9 inch pie plate.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes. Coo at room temperature . If recipe calls for unbaked pie shell, just chill for about 3 hours or overnight.

Use  chocolate filling, coconut pie filling or any filling of choice.
