Crunchy Peanut Butter
We made this peanut butter in the 4 cup bowl of our Cuisinart FP-14DCN
Why buy PB? So easy to make your own.


1 cup dry roasted peanuts
3 teaspoons canola oil or peanut oil
Optional: 1/4 cup peanuts added at end


Pour in enough peanuts to just cover the chopping blade. Turn on processor and whirrr until the consistency you like. For the crunch, add about ¼ cup additional peanuts, and pulse a few times. Scoop it out into a mason jar or a peanut butter jar. Pair with your favorite preserves.


 The consistency depends on length of processing time. Vary the recipe according to your preferences. And speaking of preferences, white, milk or dark chocolate chips can be added and pulsed in at the end,
