This recipe is easy, delicious and a tested & tasted KosherEye favorite.
2 cups long grain rice
1 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped or sliced or one 8 ounce can mushrooms. (If using canned mushrooms, use mushroom liquid instead of some of the water.)
¼ cup olive oil
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 package onion soup mix (about 4-5 Tablespoons)
4 cups water
Place all ingredients in a 9” x 13” dish
Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour…stirring after 30 minutes
Optional garnish: parsley or dill
Optional: Saute rice in the ¼ cup olive oil then proceed with remainder of recipe.
