In celebration of the 100th birthday of Mallomars, we wanted some! However, since this classic treat is not yet kosher certified, (Come-on Nabisco!), we searched for a homemade recipe.

The recipe below for Mallomars Treats was featured on Martha Stewart.com. However , we tweaked the recipe and we tried it with graham crackers instead of wheat biscuits, and although the shape was different, it was quite delicious. Now, if you want to make your own marshmallow filling, that takes this kitchen experiment to a whole new level. Let us know!

Ingredients

12 round wheat biscuit crackers, or graham crackers
Nonstick cooking spray
1 (7 1/2-ounce) jar Marshmallow Fluff
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil

Directions

Spray a parchment lined baking pan with nonstick spray
Line up 12 crackers
Spray a tablespoon or 1 Tablespoon size trigger type ice cream scoop with non-stick spray
Using the scooper or spoon, place one dollup of marshmallow cream atop each cracker
Freeze for at least an hour.
Warm the chocolate and vegetable oil over simmering water or in the microwave until JUST melted. (Careful not to burn)
Dip each cookie into the chocolate, covering the top and sides. Set aside. Serve at room temperature.
