Forget any idea you may have of smoothies being made just from fruit, juice, yogurt and maybe a splash of milk. You'll be surprised how easy it is to elevate the humble smoothie from the realm of healthy treat to one of pure self-indulgence. Sinful Smoothies offers up 24 recipes, each accompanied by a beautiful color photo, for every occasion, whether special or not!
Tropical Treats like Orange Sunset and Bondi Rip will transport you to exotic climes. Blissful Berries show how easy it is to turn delicate berries into something decadent; try Cherry Berry Crush or Berry Blitz. Roll up for Happy Hour and choose from Long Island or Strawberry Liqueur Smoothie. Serve up a Dreamy Dessert such as Apricot Ice Cream or Banana and Peanut Butter Smoothie.

KosherEye Cookbook Notes:
So true, good things do come in small packages and this little cookbook is a perfect example. It has a limited number (24) of smoothie recipes but really, how many do you need? The pictures are yummy looking and made us want to make every single recipe. We are keeping our copies on the counter, next to the blender (we have a VitaMix), so that we can "whirl" up one at a moment's notice. We especially like that the smoothie recipes are grouped into categories for easy selection and there is even one for Happy Hour. If you cannot find a kosher version of one of the liqueurs listed in a Happy Hour recipe, just switch it out for a kosher one – it won't impact the flavor because of the other good flavors included in the recipe. Great smoothie recipes for everyone in the family.
For Your Information:
As you enjoy reading about these fabulous cookbooks, some featured cookbooks have recipes, or indeed chapters with recipes that have non−kosher ingredients. No worries! KosherEye and our team of knowledgeable cookbook authors, chefs and foodies will help you find, convert and substitute ingredients to create kosher recipes. To get you started, we are providing an initial, basic list of kosher substitutions. As is the case with many outstanding cookbooks, this is a worthwhile exercise, which enables the kosher cook to have access to some of the world’s greatest, classical and most contemporary recipes, created by experts in their field.
