Hand–Dipped Fine Chocolates & Confections
Founded In 1995, Frann Edley launched her candy business in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Along with her son Neil, the mission of this family business was to “give the world a little sweetness one bite at a time”. Her goals were three fold: quality, service and value.
For 15 years, as artisanal chocolatiers, the Edley family has operated with this vision in mind, offering premium fine chocolates and unique confections to clients. The company “selects only the world's finest ingredients for chocolates and confections and produces them made–to–order, ensuring freshness, quality and taste.” In fact, the company says that if an order is in before 2:00pm EST, Sugar–Plum will hand–make the order and ship it the same day. Specialties are available for personal and corporate milestones, such as wedding and Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Sugar-Plum has been featured in numerous magazines; Fans include Rachael Ray, designer Stuart Weitzman, and now, KosherEye.
Passover is behind us, so we have tasted some of these extraordinary chocolates, In fact, we smiled at our fabulous chometz treat last night. It is traditional in many locations across the world to break Passover with pizza, but we treated ourselves to a very unique pizza as one of our first bites of chometz; the Sugar–-Plum chocolate pizza. We found it luscious, sweet, and simply fun and fabulous. The pizza arrived boxed and wrapped in a “real” cardboard pizza box, tied with a big red ribbon, and certainly put a big smile on our faces. In addition, as confessed chocoholics, we are very much into taste, and found our pizza “slices” to be rich, with a deep milk chocolate taste.
Mother’s day is approaching. Check out the numerous flavors and toppings, including the lovely and mom appropriate chocolate flower pizza. Parve chocolates are also available. Their most popular item??? − in fact is their famous chocolate dessert trays. We haven’t tasted those yet, but we’re ready.
The chocolate pizza products are certified OU Kosher Dairy. But as always, when ordering. be certain the kosher label is on the product.
