Ice Cream Desserts

The Scoop

collages9Ladies and Gentlemen...

Step right up to the bar, the ice cream bar. It’s Spring and almost Shavuos. Along with scrumptious cheesecakes, we suggest creating an ice cream buffet for a gala holiday dessert. There is just nothing better than ice cream in warm weather.  Dazzle your guests and your family with ice cream –  topped, dipped, layered, sprinkled, and swirled with fun flavors and luscious accompaniments  Create a sundae bar or an ice cream cake buffet – or a mix of both. And, the very best thing…you can freeze the leftovers!

We are presenting both dairy and parve recipes. We appreciate the delicious, parve recipes shared by KosherEye foodie friend, Shoshana Ohriner. Enjoy!

Ice Cream Sundae Bar
Start with 2 or 3 flavors, a tub of vanilla, (America’s favorite) a tub of chocolate (America’s 2nd favorite) and possibly butter pecan or strawberry (respectively America’s 3rd and 4th favorites!)

Toppings:
Nuts, sprinkles, candies, cookies, seasonal fruits, marshmallows, coconut, and more.

Sauces such as butterscotch, caramel, cherry , strawberry, or any berry, honey, liqueurs and hot fudge. There’s so many more – show your creativity. Remember that you can crush any cookies and candies in a food  processor – or put in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.

And of course, at the very top, mounds of whipped cream!
