The Ari & Sari Horowitz Memorial Fund is dedicated to providing food and other necessities for needy IDF soldiers and their families. This fund supports the current Yashar LaChayal projects including Holiday Food Baskets for the Families of Needy Soldiers and Needy Soldier Supply Closets.
Ari and Sari Horowitz were victims of a tragic auto accident while walking home from the synagogue on September 15, 2012, in East Brunswick, New Jersey. The trauma of this accident resonated throughout the world. Throughout their 29 years of marriage, Ari and Sari touched many communities with their generous spirit and giving nature. This fund was established by their family and friends, and is dedicated to their memory, for a cause they held so dear – assisting needy IDF soldiers.
The Ari & Sari Horowitz fund will support the upcoming campaign, Rosh Hashanah Food Baskets for Needy Soldiers and Their Families. In their honor and with your support, Yashar LaChayal will distribute food packages to over one thousand families of needy IDF soldiers, ensuring that needy combat soldiers going home to celebrate the holidays need not worry about creating an extra burden for their families.
