Jack’s Gourmet Kosher Facon

Rhymes with B_ _ _ _ . This dry–cured, smoky, thinly sliced beef, from Jack's Gourmet, cooks up just like the REAL thing!  We sautéed our Facon in a fry pan until we heard the sizzle (about 1 minute per side), and then with a slotted spatula, served it straight from the fry pan onto some mayo slathered toasted deli rye, layered with tomato and lettuce. (Another option –  Remove from pan and drain on some paper towels). We added a side of chips, and then readers, we entered eating heaven! What a treat! A special treat, enjoyed in moderation. Use it on a burger, as a side with eggs, crumbled into a salad or as a topping (along with parve sour cream) on baked potato. Few strips Facon, cooked
Mayonnaise
Lettuce
Tomato
2 slices Rye bread, toasted

Slather mayo on both sides of the toasted rye bread. Place lettuce, sliced tomato, strips of Facon on 1 piece of toasted rye bread. Top with second piece of bread and take a big bite!
